Analisis Hubungan Jangka Pendek dan Jangka Panjang antara PDB, Alih Fungsi Lahan, Energi Terbarukan Terhadap Emisi Karbon: Pendekatan ARDL

Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi, alih fungsi lahan, energi terbarukan, dan emisi karbon dioksida di Indonesia dengan menggunakan pendekatan Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak jangka pendek dan jangka panjang dari variabel-variabel tersebut terhadap emisi karbon, guna memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif terkait keberlanjutan lingkungan dan kebijakan mitigasi perubahan iklim. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka pendek, peningkatan Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) berkontribusi terhadap penurunan emisi karbon, yang dapat dikaitkan dengan kemajuan teknologi serta kebijakan lingkungan yang lebih ketat. Namun, dalam jangka panjang, pertumbuhan ekonomi justru cenderung meningkatkan emisi karbon, mencerminkan tantangan dalam transisi energi yang lebih bersih. Selain itu, alih fungsi lahan dalam jangka pendek terbukti menurunkan emisi karbon, tetapi dalam jangka panjang tidak menunjukkan dampak yang signifikan, mengindikasikan bahwa konversi lahan yang tidak berkelanjutan dapat menghambat upaya mitigasi perubahan iklim. Penggunaan energi terbarukan juga terbukti mampu menekan emisi karbon dalam jangka pendek, meskipun dalam jangka panjang efeknya tidak signifikan, yang menunjukkan perlunya strategi lebih kuat dalam meningkatkan efektivitas energi hijau
