Decreasing oil well productivity is a common challenge in petroleum engineering, which often requires some application of artificial lift methods. One of the most widely used artificial lift systems is the Sucker Rod Pump (SRP), which is known for its efficiency in lifting oil from medium to low pressure reservoirs. This study also evaluates the productivity of the ANDY98 Well and designs an optimal SRP system to improve its production performance. This study also involves calculating the Productivity Index (PI), in the preparation of the Inflow Performance Relationship (IPR) curve, and selecting the right SRP components to maximize the performance of the well. The PI calculation is done using well test data, while the IPR curve is obtained from single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase flow models. The design of the SRP system considers several key parameters such as pump depth, rod assembly selection, and stroke length. The results of the study indicate that the existing natural flow method is not sufficient to maintain the economic production rate. The designed SRP system significantly increases oil production by optimizing pump efficiency and reducing energy consumption. This study also focuses on the importance of selecting the right artificial lift system based on reservoir conditions and well performance. Future research is recommended to explore advanced materials for rod string components and real-time monitoring technology to improve SRP operations
